More Camper Mods

After nearly ten thousand miles on the Cherokee Grey Wolf 25RR, we decided that a few more modifications were in order to make more space and make things more user friendly.
The TV cabinet was always wasted space and I had contemplated making doors for it before we left the last time but I didn't and that was the first project. I used piano hinges to hold the weight of the television and the mount is attached to the right hand door. When it is closed, there is a block on the left side door that the mount rests on so both doors hold the weight. I used sash locks to lock the doors in place for travel. Becky gained a place for quart jars of canned goods and her yarn boxes.

To help clear up space on the bench when we are stopped, I built some book racks on the side of the printer cabinet.
On the right side of this photo, you can see a door with a piano hinge at the top. I removed part of the cabinet and then used that piece as a divider in the cabinet. Another sash lock holds the door closed and now there is an easy access place for cook books and other items. On the first picture of the TV cabinet, on the left side, you can see the cabinet front was removed and the visible cook books. The door swings up and hooks to the ceiling with a hook and eye.
Becky got decorative with the center areas on the cabinet doors taking cork board and covering it in fabric to use for a bulletin board. Here the nephews decorate the space.
We have yet to use the shower in the bathroom preferring the showers at the places that we stopped and I took the time to build some shelves that remove so that we have extra storage and we can still access the shower if we choose.
