Sept 17 We traveled across California to Minden, NV to be our jump off point for exploring the Tahoe area. Nothing special here is the route and pictures.

We came around the corner on Route 50 and Lake Tahoe is down below. Not my photo but the one Becky took was blurry.

We shacked up at Silver City RV park. It was not my favorite place because instead of grass or something else between sites, they had large pebbles. It was like getting caught in quicksand. It made getting around very hard. Other than the stones, the showers were decent and the check in guy was named Elvis and he was trying to impersonate his name sake from the hair to the sideburns to the heavy gut, it was all alright.
